Comparison of urinary bladder function in sexually mature and immature male and female rats.
TL;DR: Micturition behavior, and the maximal pressure response to bethanechol changed dramatically with sexual maturity, consistent with the idea that estrogen and other hormones may have a marked influence on bladder function and micturitions behavior.
