Journal ArticleDOI

Review: Intrusion detection system: A comprehensive review

TL;DR: Through the extensive survey and sophisticated organization, this work proposes the taxonomy to outline modern IDSs and tries to give a more elaborate image for a comprehensive review.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sorting by reversals and block-interchanges with various weight assignments

TL;DR: If the weight of reversals is no more than that of block-interchanges, the algorithm provides an acceptable solution for the transformation of two permutations, and the performance of the approximation algorithm is superior to its theoretical expectation.
Journal ArticleDOI

A P2P Framework for Developing Bioinformatics Applications in Dynamic Cloud Environments

TL;DR: This paper proposes an alternative approach, called PRKad, which exploits a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) model to achieve efficient data discovery and delivery in dynamic cloud environments, and it locates data according to Distributed Hash Table (DHT) and XOR metric.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Minimum Conflict Degree Channel Assignment in multi-rate multi-channel wireless networks

TL;DR: The simulation results show that the proposed metrics are more appropriate than a widely used metric, fractional network interference, in multi-rate multi-channel wireless networks and the algorithm performs better than the minimum interference greedy CA algorithm.
