Journal ArticleDOI

Bone modeling and remodeling: potential as therapeutic targets for the treatment of osteoporosis.

TL;DR: Inhibition of sclerostin stimulates bone formation and histomorphometric analysis demonstrated that bone formation is predominantly modeling based, just as remodeling-based resorption is responsible for the medullary expansion seen at the long bones with aging.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of cyclosporine A on chick osteoclasts in vitro.

TL;DR: The effects of CsA on osteoclast viability and resorptive function may be due to a direct effect on the osteoclasts and/or to an interaction with the nonosteoclastic cell population in the culture.
