A Rationale for the Large Breathing of the Porous Aluminum Terephthalate (MIL‐53) Upon Hydration

TL;DR: Analysis of the hydration process by solid-state NMR has clearly indicated that the trapped water molecules interact with the carboxylate groups through hydrogen bonds, but do not affect the hydroxyl species bridging the aluminum atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, Single-Crystal X-ray Microdiffraction, and NMR Characterizations of the Giant Pore Metal-Organic Framework Aluminum Trimesate MIL-100

TL;DR: In this article, the metal-organic framework aluminum trimesate (MIL-100) was synthesized by means of single crystal using the microdiffraction setup together with microfocalized synchrotron radiation at station ID13 (ESRF, France).
Journal ArticleDOI

A quantitative study of 27Al MAS NMR in crystalline YAG

TL;DR: In this article, a quantitative 27Al NMR analysis of yttrium aluminum garnet was performed, involving a complete computation of the quadrupolar interaction in MAS conditions, and results showed a very good agreement with the known X-ray structure: three tetrahedral aluminum sites and two octahedral.
