Factors Associated with the Development of Peanut Allergy in Childhood
TL;DR: Data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children is used to identify those with a convincing history of peanut allergy and the subgroup that reacted to a double-blind peanut challenge, which could lead to new strategies to prevent sensitization in infants who are at risk for subsequent peanut allergy.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Jewish children in the UK have a prevalence of PA that is 10-fold higher than that ofJewish children in Israel, and this difference is not accounted for by differences in atopy, social class, genetic background, or peanut allergenicity.

TL;DR: The trial did not show the efficacy of early introduction of allergenic foods in an intention-to-treat analysis, and the consumption of 2 g per week of peanut or egg-white protein was associated with a significantly lower prevalence of these respective allergies than was less consumption.
