Journal ArticleDOI
Immunohistochemistry for SDHB triages genetic testing of SDHB, SDHC, and SDHD in paraganglioma-pheochromocytoma syndromes.
Anthony J. Gill,Anthony J. Gill,Diana E. Benn,Angela Chou,Adele Clarkson,Anita Muljono,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,Anne Louise Richardson,Stan B. Sidhu,Stan B. Sidhu,Bruce G. Robinson,Roderick J. Clifton-Bligh +12 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that approximately 15% of all pheochromocytomas or paragangliomas are associated with germline SDH mutation and that immunohistochemistry can be used to triage genetic testing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Parafibromin-deficient (HPT-JT Type, CDC73 Mutated) Parathyroid Tumors Demonstrate Distinctive Morphologic Features.
Anthony J. Gill,Anthony J. Gill,Anthony J. Gill,Grace Lim,Veronica K. Y. Cheung,Veronica K. Y. Cheung,Juliana Andrici,Juliana Andrici,Joanna Perry-Keene,Julie Paik,Julie Paik,Loretta Sioson,Loretta Sioson,Adele Clarkson,Adele Clarkson,Amy Sheen,Amy Sheen,Catherine Luxford,Marianne S. Elston,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,M. Teresa Nano,Schelto Kruijff,Anton F. Engelsman,Mark Sywak,Mark Sywak,Stanley Sidhu,Stanley Sidhu,Leigh Delbridge,Leigh Delbridge,Bruce G. Robinson,Bruce G. Robinson,Deborah J. Marsh,Deborah J. Marsh,Christopher W. Toon,Christopher W. Toon,Angela Chou,Roderick J. Clifton-Bligh,Roderick J. Clifton-Bligh +38 more
TL;DR: There are previously unrecognized morphologic clues to parafibromin loss/CDC73 mutation in parathyroid tumors which, given the association with malignancy and syndromic disease, are important to recognize.
Journal ArticleDOI
Increased SSTR2A and SSTR3 expression in succinate dehydrogenase–deficient pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas
Marianne S. Elston,Marianne S. Elston,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,Helen M. Conaglen,Adele Clarkson,Roderick J. Clifton-Bligh,John V. Conaglen,John V. Conaglen,Anthony J. Gill,Anthony J. Gill +10 more
TL;DR: The findings suggest that the role of somatostatin analogue therapy (unlabeled or radiolabeled) should be reexamined in the context of the underlying SDHB immunohistochemistry pattern.
Journal ArticleDOI
Paraganglioma in Pregnancy: A Case Series and Review of the Literature
TL;DR: Pregnant women with paragangliomas may be at a lower risk of adverse outcome than those with pheochromocytomas, but both maternal and fetal mortality rates are still higher than that of the general obstetric population.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adherence to adrenal incidentaloma guidelines is influenced by radiology report recommendations
Binula N. Wickramarachchi,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,Goswin Y. Meyer-Rochow,Kim A. McAnulty,John V. Conaglen,Marianne S. Elston,Marianne S. Elston +6 more
TL;DR: Adherence to recommended international guidelines and potential influencing factors when an adrenal incidentaloma is identified in routine clinical practice are determined.
