Journal ArticleDOI
Gold Nanoparticles for Photothermal Cancer Therapy.
TL;DR: A quick review of the structure, applications, recent advancements, and potential future directions for the utilization of gold nanoparticles in cancer therapeutics is given.
Journal ArticleDOI
Injectable biodegradable hydrogel composites for rabbit marrow mesenchymal stem cell and growth factor delivery for cartilage tissue engineering
TL;DR: Results indicate that encapsulated rabbit MSCs remained viable over the culture period and differentiated into chondrocyte-like cells, thus suggesting the potential of OPF composite hydrogels as part of a novel strategy for localized delivery of stem cells and bioactive molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sterile Neutrino Search at the NEOS Experiment.
Youngju Ko,BR Kim,Jy Kim,Bo-Young Han,C. H. Jang,Eun Ju Jeon,K. K. Joo,Hyung J. Kim,H. S. Kim,Yeongduk Kim,Yeongduk Kim,Jongmin Lee,J. S. H. Lee,Moo Hyun Lee,Yoomin Oh,Hyang Kyu Park,Hansoo Park,Kang Soon Park,Kyungmin Seo,Kim Siyeon,GM Sun +20 more
TL;DR: The shape of the antineutrino energy spectrum obtained from the eight-month data-taking period is compared with a hypothesis of oscillations due to active-sterile antineUTrino mixing and no strong evidence of 3+1 neutrino oscillation is found.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of swelling ratio of injectable hydrogel composites on chondrogenic differentiation of encapsulated rabbit marrow mesenchymal stem cells in vitro.
Hansoo Park,Xuan Guo,Xuan Guo,Johnna S. Temenoff,Yasuhiko Tabata,Arnold I. Caplan,F. Kurtis Kasper,Antonios G. Mikos,Antonios G. Mikos +8 more
TL;DR: The results indicate that chondrogenic differentiation of encapsulated rabbit marrow MSCs within OPF hydrogel composites could be affected by their swelling ratio, thus suggesting the potential of OPF composite hydrogels as part of a novel strategy for controlling the differentiation of stem cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Delivery of TGF-β1 and chondrocytes via injectable, biodegradable hydrogels for cartilage tissue engineering applications
TL;DR: Bioassay results indicate the potential of OPF hydrogel composites containing embedded chondrocytes and TGF-β1-loaded gelatin MPs as a novel strategy for cartilage tissue engineering.
