Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical priming with urea and KNO3 enhances maize hybrids (Zea mays L.) seed viability under abiotic stress

TL;DR: Generally, KNO3 and urea alleviated effects of both stresses and led to increased germination and seedling growth as well as the root length, and hybrid 304 appeared to be more resistant to stress than other hybrids.
Journal ArticleDOI

Global, regional, and national burden of colorectal cancer and its risk factors, 1990–2019: a systematic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019

Rajesh Sharma, +403 more
TL;DR: The increase in incidence rates in people younger than 50 years and the fast-rising burden in low SDI and middle SDI countries in Asia and Africa calls for colorectal cancer prevention approaches, greater awareness, and cost-effective screening and therapeutic options in these regions.
Journal Article

Comparison of serum lead level in oral opium addicts with healthy control group.

TL;DR: It is concluded that opium addicts have an elevated BLL compared to healthy controls and screening of blood lead concentration is helpful for opium addicted people especially with non-specific symptoms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Strain gradient elasticity solution for functionally graded micro-cylinders

TL;DR: In this paper, a strain gradient elasticity formulation for analysis of FG (functionally graded) micro-cylinders is presented, where the material properties are assumed to obey a power law in radial direction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nd→H3γ with effective field theory

TL;DR: In this article, the cross section of neutron-deuteron radiative capture n d → H 3 γ was calculated at energies relevant to big-bang nucleosynthesis (20 ⩽ E⩽ 200 keV ) with pionless effective field theory.
