Methods for polyurethane and polyurethane composites, recycling and recovery: A review
TL;DR: In this article, a review of recent progress in the recycling and recovery of polyurethane composites is reviewed, and many of the plastic feedstock recycling processes appear to be technically feasible and robust enough to warrant further development in the future.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gamma radiation/H2O2 treatment of a nonylphenol ethoxylates: Degradation, cytotoxicity, and mutagenicity evaluation.
Munawar Iqbal,Ijaz Ahmad Bhatti +1 more
TL;DR: Gamma radiation/H2O2 treatment of nonylphenol polyethoxylates (NPEO) revealed a considerable reduction in cytotoxicity and mutagenicity and showed that NPEO-6 detoxified more efficiently versus NPEO's 9 and 30 and has the potential to mineralize and detoxify NPEO.
Journal ArticleDOI
Response surface methodology application in optimization of cadmium adsorption by shoe waste: A good option of waste mitigation by waste
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of shoe waste adsorbents on the removal of cadmium (Cd) from simulated aqueous solution and wastewater was investigated by using response surface methodology (RSM).
Journal ArticleDOI
Possible applications of coal fly ash in wastewater treatment.
TL;DR: The possibilities of using coal fly ash in wastewater treatment by different technologies that extend the utilization scope in the domains of filtration, Fenton process, photocatalysis, and coagulation are highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extraction of natural dye from red calico leaves: Gamma ray assisted improvements in colour strength and fastness properties
TL;DR: In this paper, a study was conducted to explore the colouring potential of red calico leaves and to improve color strength of dye using gamma radiations followed by mordanting process.
