Journal ArticleDOI

Predicting the activity of phenolic antioxidants: theoretical method, analysis of substituent effects, and application to major families of antioxidants.

TL;DR: A procedure based on density functional theory is used for the calculation of the gas-phase bond dissociation enthalpy (BDE) and ionization potential for molecules belonging to the class of phenolic antioxidants, and it is concluded that in most cases H-atom transfer will be dominant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Household drinking water in developing countries: a systematic review of microbiological contamination between source and point‐of‐use

TL;DR: To assess the extent and causes of microbiological contamination of household drinking water between source and point‐of‐use in developing countries, a large number of countries in the region are surveyed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spatial patterns and recent trends in the climate of tropical rainforest regions

TL;DR: An analysis of the mean climate and climatic trends of tropical rainforest regions over the period 1960-1998, with the aid of explicit maps of forest cover and climatological databases, finds the El Niño-Southern Oscillation is the primary driver of temperature variations across the tropics and of precipitation fluctuations for large areas of the Americas and southeast Asia.
Book ChapterDOI

Development and Reliability of a System to Classify Gross Motor Function in Children with Cerebral Palsy

TL;DR: Palano, Peter Rosenbaum, Stephen Walter, Dianne Russell, Ellen Wood, and Barbara Galappi as mentioned in this paper, the authors of this paper. But they did not discuss their work with the authors.
