TL;DR: Through a multivariate analysis of the causes of death in older patients, it was found that males, comorbidities, time from disease onset to hospitalization, abnormal kidney function, and elevated procalcitonin levels were all significantly associated with death.

HLA-dependent hypersensitivity reaction to nevirapine in Chinese Han HIV-infected patients.
TL;DR: It was found that considerable overlap was observed for the clinical and demographic characteristics of the 32 hypersensitive patients and 71 tolerant patients and it was identified that HLA-Cw*04 presence was a risk factor related to NVP HSR.
