Major types and time–space distribution of Mesozoic ore deposits in South China and their geodynamic settings

TL;DR: In this article, the authors suggest that the three major magmatic-mineralization episodes are the result of distinct geodynamic regimes, based on mineral assemblage, age, and space-time distribution of these mineral systems, integrated with regional geological data and field observations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Re-Os isotopic dating of molybdenites in the Xiaoliugou W (Mo) deposit in the northern Qilian mountains and its geological significance

TL;DR: The Xiaoliugou W-Mo deposit as mentioned in this paper has an isochron age of 462 ± 13 Ma (2σ) and model ages of 436 to 496 Ma.
Journal Article

Mesozoic large scale mineralization and multiple lithospheric extension in south china

TL;DR: According to the available high precision geochronological data, it is proposed that there are three pulses of large scale mineralization in south China, i.e. 170~150 Ma, 140゙125 Ma, and 110ﻞ80 Ma, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Age and geochemistry of granites in Gejiu area, Yunnan province, SW China: Constraints on their petrogenesis and tectonic setting

TL;DR: In this article, the ages of two phases of Gejiu granitic intrusions have been analyzed by SHRIMP and/or LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb techniques, yielding ages ranging from 77.4 ± 2.5 Ma to 85.0 ± 0.85 Ma.
