Fibre‐reinforced concrete in fib Model Code 2010: principles, models and test validation
TL;DR: In the fib Model Code for Concrete Structures 2010, fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) is recognized as a new material for structures as discussed by the authors, and the most important constitutive law introduced is the stress-crack opening response in uniaxial tension.
Journal ArticleDOI
New NDT techniques for the assessment of fire-damaged concrete structures
Matteo Colombo,Roberto Felicetti +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, three new investigation techniques have been proposed, which allow to assess the whole thermal damage profile in one single test: a simplified interpretation technique for the indirect Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) method (based on the refraction of longitudinal waves), an affordable approach to concrete colorimetry and real-time monitoring of the drilling resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of 9-Oxo-9H-indeno[1,2-b]pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile Analogues as Potential Inhibitors of Deubiquitinating Enzymes
Matteo Colombo,Stefania Vallese,Ilaria Peretto,Xavier Jacq,Jean-Christophe Rain,Frédéric Colland,Philippe Guedat +6 more
TL;DR: High‐throughput screening highlighted 9‐oxo‐9H‐indeno[1,2‐b]pyrazine‐2,3‐dicarbonitrile (1) as an active inhibitor of ubiquitin‐specific proteases (USPs), a family of hydrolytic enzymes involved in the removal of ubiquin from protein substrates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bending behaviour of Textile Reinforced Concrete sandwich beams
TL;DR: In this paper, a prefabricated concrete sandwich panel, with insulating material acting as a structural layer able to transfer the shear stresses, is discussed, using an in-pressure casting technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Erratum to: Textile Reinforced Concrete: experimental investigation on design parameters
TL;DR: In this article, an extensive experimental investigation of TRC is presented: tensile tests were carried out to obtain a complete mechanical characterization of the composite material under standard conditions, considering the influence of different variables such as reinforcement ratio, fabric geometry, curing conditions, displacement rate and specimen size.
