Observation of the narrow state X(3872) → J/ψπ+π- in p̄p collisions at √s = 1.96 TeV

D. Acosta, +639 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the observation of a state consistent with X(3872) decaying into J/ψπ+π-decomposition, where the observed width was consistent with the detector resolution and the results were found to be converging well with the measurements by the Belle Collaboration using b± decays.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the J/ψ meson and b-hadron production cross sections in pp̄ collisions at √s = 1960 GeV

D. Acosta, +682 more
- 01 Jan 2005 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a new measurement of the inclusive and differential production cross sections of J/psi mesons and b-hadrons in proton-antiproton collisions at {radical}s = 1960 GeV The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 397 pb{sup -1} collected by the CDF Run II detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

The pressure drop in microtubes and the correlation development.

TL;DR: In this article, a new correlation to predict the two-phase flow pressure drop in microtubes was developed in the form of the Lockhart-Martinelli correlation, which includes the tube diameter, surface tension effect, and the effect of the Reynolds number.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characteristics of evaporative heat transfer and pressure drop of carbon dioxide and correlation development

TL;DR: In this article, the measured heat transfer coefficients and pressure drop during evaporation process of carbon dioxide in a horizontal smooth tube were investigated by experiment and analysis in transcritical refrigeration cycle using carbon dioxide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal analysis and pack level design of battery thermal management system with liquid cooling for electric vehicles

TL;DR: In this article, a comparative study for structural design of battery thermal management system is presented for electric vehicles, and a thermal model for the pouch battery pack with liquid cooling is developed for thermal analysis of various pack designs.
