Journal ArticleDOI

In vivo confocal endomicroscopy of small intestinal mucosal morphology in dogs.

TL;DR: CEM provides in vivo images that allow for cellular and subcellular assessment of intestinal mucosal morphology during endoscopy, which has implications for aiding in vivo diagnosis of gastrointestinal disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

A pilot study of 4CYTE™ Epiitalis® Forte, a novel nutraceutical, in the management of naturally occurring osteoarthritis in dogs.

TL;DR: Improvements measured in both exploratory objective endpoints SI and T/P TPI will be used to develop a protocol for a follow-up placebo-controlled randomised study to confirm the efficacy of this new nutraceutical for dogs suffering from OA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Challenges associated with the demonstration of bioequivalence of intramammary products in ruminants.

TL;DR: This article explores the numerous challenges encountered when the goal is to demonstrate bioequivalence (BE) between test and reference intramammary (IMM) products in ruminants and discusses the implications of clinically significant formulation differences in the demonstration of BE.
Journal Article

Poly-L-aspartic acid does but triiodothyronine does not protect against gentamicin-induced cytotoxicity in the porcine kidney cell line LLC-PK1.

TL;DR: Protection against gentamicin nephrotoxicity by L-triiodothyronine was not demonstrated in LLC-PK1 cells, indicating that its protective effect in vivo is likely due to a systemic effect of the hormone.
