Thyroid illness is a medicinal state that influences the functionality of the thyroid organ that is thyroid gland [1](Guyton, 2011).The indications of thyroid ailment differ basing upon the type. There are four most common varieties: hypothyroidism (low capacity) which is caused due to the insufficiency of the thyroid hormones; hyperthyroidism (high capacity) which is caused due to the existence of the thyroid hormones more than just sufficient, basic variations from the norm, most normally an augmentation of the thyroid organ; and tumors which can be benign or can cause cancer. In this study a comparative thyroid disease diagnosis were performed by using Machine learning techniques that is Support Vector Machine (SVM), Multiple Linear Regression, Naïve Bayes, Decision Trees. A Comparative study of machine learning algorithms on thyroid disease prediction

With evolution of the smart things, to acquire data, gateways play a major role in interconnecting with various sensor nodes. Using different wireless protocols and standards with sensor nodes, gateway can transform information into a unique format that transmits into the cloud for further use. Which accepts the commands from external users in the remote location through a personal computer or a smartphone? The proposed gateway has its added advantages; (i) ZigBee and Wi-Fi wireless technologies connectivity is enabled, (ii) transforms the information into required protocol format, (iii) uses a light weighted MQTT protocol in transmitting and receiving environment, (iv) It provides the storage and analyzed data and (v) the sensor values can be observed and the devices can be controlled by a smartphone from remote location. Here we demonstrate the proof of concept for controlling the smart home appliances. This also represents a design and implementation of Bi-Directional IoT gateway using ZigBee and Wi-Fi technologies with MQTT protocol.

This brief presents a 10kS/s 14 bit 12.5 ENOB Successive Approximation Register Analog-toDigital Converter for Cardiac Implantable Medical. For achieving power efficient operation, SAR ADC employ SAR control, a new power and noise efficient comparator topology, nonbinary weighted capacitive DAC. The linearity of implemented SAR ADC is enhanced with the uniform geometry of non-binary weighted capacitive DAC.The proposed SAR ADC is implemented using 65nm CMOS technology. The latched comparator consumes a power of 2.4uW and it provides an ENOB of 12.6 at a supply voltage of 1V.The INL is between -2.7/+1.6 LSB and DNL is between 0.6/+1.4LSB. The FOM of ADC is 40fJ/conv. Step which is comparable with existing ADC topologies.

Future of internet of things (IoT) in 5G wireless networks

In multi user MIMO-LTE advanced networks, the main issue is related to signal to noise ratio SINR mismatch which can result in reduced throughput and performance. Also the conventional code books may result in feedback overhead when the channels change slowly. Hence in this paper, we propose downlink multi user MIMO-LTE advanced networks using SINR approximation and hierarchical CSI feedback. Initially, signal and spatially correlated flat fading channels model of MU-MIMO is defined. Then a signal to noise ratio SINR approximation techniques is employed which utilises the channel state information at the base station. An advance structural codebook and an idea of hierarchical feedback are introduced. The main idea of hierarchical feedback is that if the channel is altered slowly, the channel state information feedback can be aggregated over multiple feedback intervals so that the aggregated bits index a larger codebook. There are pre-defined numbers of levels in a hierarchical codebook tree. This increased codebook size can effectively improve the performance of MU-MIMO. By simulation results, we show that the proposed technique improves the throughput and reduces the overhead.

Even though there are currently an excessive number of mobile users connected to the network, the major objective is to enhance the network's quality and performance. It takes the idea of improving network performance and minimizes the amount of energy consumed, which can then be utilized to simplify and make consumers' lives easier by serving their needs as accurately as possible. This is done to alleviate the substantial traffic load that its use may cause on a cellular network. The energy consumption of the world's most powerful mobile networks is in the vicinity of gigawatts per year, making it one of the world's highest. In order to improve the service quality of a network, it is necessary to construct accurate and trustworthy time-series models for estimating the volume of cellular mobile traffic. This research project will permit the creation of a model that will aid in the intelligent prediction of cellular network load traffic. To counteract the enormous traffic load that a cellular network is now experiencing, the Quality of service should be simplified and improved. This will facilitate meeting user needs as exactly as possible. It is determined where the users are, what the signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio is, and what the users' quality of service expectations are, and the transmit power is then adjusted to the least amount necessary to meet those needs. There will never be a day when all base stations are completely in switched off state. Adjustments are made to the transmit power to ensure it is set at the lowest possible level, taking into consideration the amount of signal-to-noise ratio and the users' quality of service requirements.
