TL;DR: The structural and mechanical properties of three repeats of chicken brain α-spectrin are studied at the atomic level under stretching at constant velocities using molecular dynamics simulations at T = 300 K and the relationship between mechanical stability, flexibility of the domains and the number of aromatic residues involved in aromatic clusters is observed.

01 Jan 2005TL;DR: In this article, the authors reviewed the principal ideas of cosmoparticle physics, studying mutual relationship between cosmology and particle physics, and offered the way to study the theory of everything and the true history of the Universe, based on it, in the proper combination of their indirect physical, astrophysical and cosmological signatures.
Abstract: The modern development of cosmology and particle physics naturally leads to analysis of physics beyond the standard model and of its cosmological impact. We have first positive experimental evidences for new physics. We need physics beyond the standard model for inflationary cosmology with baryosynthesis and nonbaryonic matter and energy. The principal ideas of cosmoparticle physics, studying mutual relationship between cosmology and particle physics are briefly reviewed. These ideas offer the way to study the theory of everything and the true history of the Universe, based on it, in the proper combination of their indirect physical, astrophysical and cosmological signatures.

TL;DR: Forms and methods of using grid integration technologies for work with computer, file, information, and other types of resources are described.
Abstract: During the last decade, a new direction of distributed computing--the grid--emerged, which is designed for work with sets of distributed resources. The results obtained, including the development of largescale grid infrastructures, bring us to the discussion of possibility of applying the new technologies to practice. The goal of the paper is to outline a scope of grid capabilities. The discussion relies on the formulation of basic points of the grid concept, principles of integration of spatially distributed resources, and the tasks solved by the grid middleware. Based on this, forms and methods of using grid integration technologies for work with computer, file, information, and other types of resources are described.
