TL;DR: This study presents the first application of the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) for the software fault prediction problem and shows that the application of ANFIS to the software faults prediction problem is highly reasonable.
Abstract: Software fault prediction is implemented with ANN, SVM and ANFIS.First ANFIS implementation is applied to solve fault prediction problem.Parameters are discussed in neuro fuzzy approach.Experiments show that the application of ANFIS to the software fault prediction problem is highly reasonable. The main expectation from reliable software is the minimization of the number of failures that occur when the program runs. Determining whether software modules are prone to fault is important because doing so assists in identifying modules that require refactoring or detailed testing. Software fault prediction is a discipline that predicts the fault proneness of future modules by using essential prediction metrics and historical fault data. This study presents the first application of the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) for the software fault prediction problem. Moreover, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) methods, which were experienced previously, are built to discuss the performance of ANFIS. Data used in this study are collected from the PROMISE Software Engineering Repository, and McCabe metrics are selected because they comprehensively address the programming effort. ROC-AUC is used as a performance measure. The results achieved were 0.7795, 0.8685, and 0.8573 for the SVM, ANN and ANFIS methods, respectively.

TL;DR: This work presents an offline signature verification system based on a signature's local histogram features, which is divided into zones using both the Cartesian and polar coordinate systems and two different histograms features are calculated for each zone.
Abstract: We present an offline signature verification system based on a signature's local histogram features. The signature is divided into zones using both the Cartesian and polar coordinate systems and two different histogram features are calculated for each zone: histogram of oriented gradients (HOG) and histogram of local binary patterns (LBP).

TL;DR: The performances of genetic algorithm, artificial bee colony optimization, and particle swarm optimization, which are nature-inspired EA techniques, are evaluated for active filter design.
Abstract: In analog filter design, component values are selected due to manufactured constant values where performing an exhaustive search on all possible combinations of preferred values for obtaining an optimized design is not feasible. The application of evolutionary algorithms (EA) in analog active filter circuit design and optimization is a promising area which is based on concepts of natural selection and survival of the fittest. In this paper, the performances of genetic algorithm, artificial bee colony optimization, and particle swarm optimization, which are nature-inspired EA techniques, are evaluated for active filter design. Each algorithm is applied to two different filter structures and performances of them are also evaluated when filter design is realized with components selected from different manufactured series.

TL;DR: In this article, the electronic band structure of the layered GaSe crystal was investigated by the first-principles density functional theory calculations, and the $GW$ approximation was used for the correction of the band-gap values.
Abstract: The electronic structure of two-dimensional gallium selenide crystals containing a small number of layers was investigated theoretically and experimentally. The electronic band structure of the layered GaSe crystal was investigated by the first-principles density functional theory calculations. The $GW$ approximation was used for the correction of the band-gap values. A dependence of the band-gap value on the number of tetralayers has been demonstrated. For the thin crystal with several tetralayers, the band gap becomes larger compared to the bulk crystal. The thin layers of GaSe have been experimentally produced by the ultrasonication of GaSe particles in water suspensions in the presence of Pluronic F127 surfactant. Their thickness was from one to a few tetralayers, according to the transmission electron microscopy studies. The optical absorption spectra demonstrate the well-resolved bands, shifted toward the blue relative to those of the bulk GaSe. Their origin is caused by the presence of GaSe structures with one to a few tetralayers.
