Citizenship and the right to the global city: reimagining the capitalist world order

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the potential of Lefebvrian citizenship by constructing a theoretical sketch of one possible citizenship based on the right-to-the-city concept, which they call the right to the global city.
Journal ArticleDOI

Going Deeper in Spiking Neural Networks: VGG and Residual Architectures.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a novel algorithmic technique for generating an SNN with a deep architecture, and demonstrate its effectiveness on complex visual recognition problems such as CIFAR-10 and ImageNet.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection and clinical importance of micrometastatic disease

TL;DR: The current state of research on minimal residual cancer in patients with epithelial tumors and the diagnostic and clinical implications of these findings are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

An ecosystem approach for sustainability: addressing the challenge of complexity

TL;DR: This work portrays these systems as Self-Organizing Holarchic Open (SOHO) systems and interpret their behaviours and structures with reference to non-equilibrium thermodynamics: holons, propensities and canons; and information and attractors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aerodynamic models for Darrieus-type straight-bladed vertical axis wind turbines

TL;DR: In this article, the main aerodynamic models that have been used for performance prediction and design of straight-bladed Darrieus-type VAWTs are presented. But, the authors did not discuss the performance of these models.
