Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis infection in camels (Camelus dromedarius) in Saudi Arabia.

TL;DR: Clinically, pathologically and microbiologically the disease in camels resembled caseous lymphadenitis of sheep with the exception of the predominance of muscular and subcutaneous abscesses and lack of pus formation in the lymph nodes, although they contained C.p.p., which produced a chronic disease in Camels where intensive husbandry was practised.
