TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of galaxy masses and star formation rates in the Evolution and Assembly of Galaxies and their Environment (EAGLE) simulations are investigated, and the authors demonstrate that the simulations reproduce the observed growth of the stellar mass density to within 20 per cent.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the properties of barred disc galaxies in a ΛCDM cosmological hydrodynamical simulation from the EAGLE project and found that strong bars in simulated galaxies have corotation radii roughly ten times the bar length.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of realistic star formation histories and metallicity distributions on the EW(Hb)-beta diagram were investigated, and it was shown that neither of these effects are likely to jeopardize the identification of galaxies with extreme Lyman continuum leakage.
