TL;DR: In this retrospective multicenter study, the presence of the BRAF V600E mutation was significantly associated with increased cancer-related mortality among patients with PTC, and the association was not independent of tumor features.

Aberrant promoter methylation profiles of tumor suppressor genes in hepatocellular carcinoma.
TL;DR: Investigating the promoter methylation status of nine TSGs in HCC found that 82% of HCCs had methylation of at least one TSG promoter, and hypermethylation of TSGs is a common event and may play an important role in hepatocarcinogenesis.
