Journal ArticleDOI

Correlation of Arterial Stiffness With Left Atrial Volume Index and Left Ventricular Mass Index in Young Adults: Evaluation by Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that increased arterial stiffness is associated with the LAVI, which reflects the early stages of cardiac remodelling, independent of various comorbidity factors in young adults with suspected coronary artery disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative differences in the atherosclerotic disease burden between the epicardial coronary arteries: quantitative plaque analysis on coronary computed tomography angiography

TL;DR: Atherosclerotic plaque, irrespective of vessel volume, varied across the epicardial coronary arteries; with a significantly lower burden and different compositions in the LCx when compared with the LAD and RCA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Implications of serial coronary computed tomography angiography in the evaluation of coronary plaque progression.

TL;DR: The use of coronary computed tomography (CT) angiography to assess coronary plaque burden/progression is reviewed and about recent clinical trials that have utilized this imaging modality to study the effect of new pharmacotherapies on plaque burden /progression are discussed.
