TL;DR: In this article, a mass casualty incident (MCI) in a wilderness setting on the Columbia Icefield inside the Jasper National Park within the Canadian Rocky Mountains was investigated. But the response involved significant use of aeromedical resources, physician field deployment, and centralized coordination centers.
