Landslide susceptibility mapping at Vaz Watershed (Iran) using an artificial neural network model: a comparison between multilayer perceptron (MLP) and radial basic function (RBF) algorithms
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the results of two artificial neural network (ANN) algorithms, i.e., multilayer perceptron (MLP) and radial basic function (RBF) for spatial prediction of landslide susceptibility in Vaz Watershed, Iran.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intracorneal ring segment implantation for the management of keratoconus: Safety and efficacy
TL;DR: Intacs implantation appeared to be effective in improving UCVA and BSCVA in patients with mild to moderate keratoconus and contact‐lens intolerance, as well as improving uncorrected visual acuity and refraction, keratometry, and pachymetry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reproductive knowledge attitudes and behavior among adolescent males in Tehran Iran.
Mohammad Reza Mohammadi,Kazem Mohammad,Farideh Khalajabadi Farahani,Siamak Alikhani,Mohammad Zare,Fahimeh Ramezani Tehrani,Ali Ramezankhani,Farshid Alaeddini +7 more
TL;DR: Sexual experience was associated with older age access to satellite television alcohol consumption and permissive attitudes toward sex, and attitudes toward premarital sex were more permissive among respondents who were older.
Journal ArticleDOI
Landslide susceptibility mapping by comparing weight of evidence, fuzzy logic, and frequency ratio methods
V. Vakhshoori,Mohammad Zare +1 more
TL;DR: A regional scale basin susceptible to landslide located in Qaemshahr area in northern Iran was chosen for comparing the reliability of weight of evidence (WofE), fuzzy logic, and frequency ratio (FR) methods for landslide susceptibility mapping.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of zirconium (IV)-metalloporphyrin grafted Fe3O4 nanoparticles for efficient fluoride removal
TL;DR: In this article, a new sorbent consisting of 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (APTES) coated magnetic nanoparticles functionalized with a zirconium (IV) porphyrin complex Zr(TCPP)Cl 2 [TCPP: tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl) porpyrin] was successfully applied for treating a wastewater sample from glass industry.
