Antimicrobial activity and chemical composition of some essential oils.

TL;DR: In this study the composition and antimicrobial properties of essential oils obtained fromOriganum onites, Mentha piperita, Juniperus exalsa, Chrysanthemum indicum, Lavandula hybrida, Rosa damascena, Echinophora tenuifolia, Foeniculum vulgare were examined and some components with antimicrobial activity were found.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prevalence of Caries on Individual Tooth Surfaces and its Distribution by Age and Gender in University Clinic Patients

TL;DR: Gender and age do not affect the prevalence of caries on teeth sites, and more caries are experienced in younger age groups, and their incidence decreases as age increases, except for individuals older than 65 years of age.
Journal ArticleDOI

The induction of oxidative stress, cytotoxicity, and genotoxicity by dental adhesives.

TL;DR: The results suggest that the cytotoxic potencies demonstrated by these materials might be of clinical relevance, since all dental adhesives disturbed the cellular redox state of pulp cells in monolayer cultures.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effects of methidathion on lipid peroxidation and some liver enzymes: role of vitamins E and C.

TL;DR: Single-dose treatment with a combination of vitamins E and C after the administration of MD can reduce LPO caused by MD, and LPO may be one of the molecular mechanisms involved in MD-induced toxicity.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of a modeling resin and thermocycling on the surface hardness, roughness, and color of different resin composites.

TL;DR: Modeling resin did not affect the microhardness, surface roughness, and color of Aelite LS Posterior (Bisco), Filtek Ultimate (3M ESPE), and Clearfil Majesty Esthetic specimens.
