Journal ArticleDOI
Nanocellulose: From Fundamentals to Advanced Applications
Djalal Trache,Ahmed Fouzi Tarchoun,Mehdi Derradji,Tuan Sherwyn Hamidon,Nanang Masruchin,Nicolas Brosse,M. Hazwan Hussin +6 more
TL;DR: In this review, recent advances in the preparation, modification, and emerging application of nanocellulose, especially cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs), are described and discussed based on the analysis of the latest investigations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics of TEMPO-oxidized cellulose fibril-based hydrogels induced by cationic ions and their properties
TL;DR: The Higuchi model was the best-fit model of drug release kinetics and it may be possible to finely tune hydrogel properties and drug release profile by altering the internal structure of hydrogels during its preparation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dual-responsive composite hydrogels based on TEMPO-oxidized cellulose nanofibril and poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) for model drug release
TL;DR: The results suggest that the CNF–PNIPAAm hydrogels can release drugs on demand and indicated that a proper selection of polymerization temperature provided a way of tuning the dual-responsiveness of the hydrogel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of sonication treatment on supramolecular cellulose microfibril-based hydrogels induced by ionic interaction
TL;DR: The results indicate that the sonication time has an impact on hydrogels’ characteristics and drug release behavior.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhancement of Oil Palm Waste Nanoparticles on the Properties and Characterization of Hybrid Plywood Biocomposites.
Arif Nuryawan,C. K. Abdullah,Che Mohamad Hazwan,N. G. Olaiya,Esam Bashir Yahya,Iwan Risnasari,Nanang Masruchin,M. S. Baharudin,Hasmawi Khalid,H. P. S. Abdul Khalil +9 more
TL;DR: The results obtained in this study showed that OPA nanoparticles certainly improved the characteristic of the hybrid plywood.
