NIST Atomic Spectra Database

TL;DR: The Atomic Spectra Database (ASD) as discussed by the authors is a large-scale database of tens of thousands of spectral lines and energy levels at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Journal ArticleDOI

FLYCHK: Generalized population kinetics and spectral model for rapid spectroscopic analysis for all elements

TL;DR: FLYCHK as discussed by the authors is a straightforward, rapid tool to provide ionization and population distributions of plasmas in zero dimension with accuracy sufficient for most initial estimates and in many cases is applicable for more sophisticated analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of NIST Atomic Databases and Online Tools.

TL;DR: An overview of the recent developments regarding NIST numerical and bibliographic atomic databases is presented and the prospects and vision of their evolution are outlined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron-impact excitation and ionization cross sections for ground state and excited helium atoms

TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive and critically assessed cross sections for the electron-impact excitation and ionization of ground state and excited helium atoms are presented, and the evaluated/recommended cross section data are presented by analytic fit functions, which preserve the correct asymptotic behavior of the cross sections.
