An exact solution for the flow of a non-newtonian fluid past an infinite porous plate
TLDR
In this article, the flow of an incompressible fluid past an infinite porous plate subject to either suction or blowing at the plate is studied, and the existence of solutions is tied in with the sign of material moduli.Abstract:
The flow of an incompressible fluid of second grade past an infinite porous plate subject to either suction or blowing at the plate is studied. It is found that existence of solutions is tied in with the sign of material moduli and in marked contrast to the Classical Newtonian, fluid solutions can be exhibited for the blowing problem.read more

Stokes’ first problem for a second grade fluid in a porous half-space with heated boundary
TL;DR: In this paper, a second grade fluid in a porous half-space with a heated flat plate was investigated and exact solutions of the velocity and temperature fields were obtained using Fourier sine transforms.

Effects of radiation and heat source on MHD flow of a viscoelastic liquid and heat transfer over a stretching sheet
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the MHD flow and also heat transfer in a viscoelastic liquid over a stretching sheet in the presence of radiation, where the stretching of the sheet is assumed to be proportional to the distance from the slit.

On Boundary Conditions for Fluids of the Differential Type
TL;DR: In this paper, Rajagopal et al. address the issue of whether the no slip boundary condition is sufficient to have a well-posed problem and provide some definitive answers for fluids of grade 2 or grade 3.

On the analytic solution of the steady flow of a fourth grade fluid
TL;DR: In this article, the homotopy analysis method was used to investigate the flow of a fourth grade fluid past a porous plate, and the non-linear effects on the velocity distribution were discussed.

Boundary layer theory
TL;DR: The flow laws of the actual flows at high Reynolds numbers differ considerably from those of the laminar flows treated in the preceding part, denoted as turbulence as discussed by the authors, and the actual flow is very different from that of the Poiseuille flow.

TL;DR: In this paper, a brief discussion of the physical motivation behind the mathematical considerations to be presented in Part I of this paper is presented. But this discussion is limited to the case where the authors are concerned with a single point of view.
