TLDR
This article argued that there is no principled and well-defined distinction between physical properties and all other properties, and accordingly certain programs in metaphysics should be abandoned because they mistakenly assume there is such a distinction.
Abstract
This paper concerns an issue in the metaphysics of properties. The issue is: what are physical properties? What distinguishes physical properties from all other properties? My conclusions will be ‘downbeat’. I will argue that some major recent approaches to this issue prove unsatisfactory, and that the issue is much more intractable than has widely been supposed. The moral I draw is that there is no principled and well-defined distinction between physical properties and all other properties, and accordingly certain programmes in metaphysics should be abandoned because they mistakenly assume that there is such a distinction.

Pore Size Analysis of MCM-41 Type Adsorbents by Means of Nitrogen and Argon Adsorption

TL;DR: Methods of nonlocal density functional theory (NLDFT), proposed recently for predictions of adsorption equilibrium and calculations of pore size distributions in micro- and mesoporous materials, were tested on reference MCM-41 materials and support the NLDFT model as a suitable tool for characterizing nanoporous materials and predicting adsorptive equilibrium.

Characterization of citrus pectin films integrated with clove bud essential oil: Physical, thermal, barrier, antioxidant and antibacterial properties

TL;DR: Results revealed that clove oil has a good potential to be incorporated into citrus pectin to make antimicrobial edible films or coatings for various food applications.

Controls on the spatial and temporal variability of vadose dripwater geochemistry: Edwards aquifer, central Texas

TL;DR: A 4-yr study of the geochemistry of vadose groundwaters from caves within the Edwards aquifer region of central Texas offers new insights into the relationship between vadoses and phreatic groundwaters, and the fundamental influence of soil composition on groundwater geochemistry as mentioned in this paper.
