Clinical features and multidisciplinary approaches to dementia care

TL;DR: The cumulative efforts of multidisciplinary healthcare teams have advanced the understanding of dementia beyond basic descriptions, towards a more complete elucidation of risk factors, clinical symptoms, and neuropathological correlates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparing individual differences in inconsistency and plasticity as predictors of cognitive function in older adults

TL;DR: Higher RT inconsistency was associated uniformly with poorer cognitive function at baseline and with increased cognitive decline for measures of episodic memory and crystallized verbal ability, which underscores the potential utility of response times for articulating inconsistency and plasticity as dynamic predictors of cognitive function in older adults.
Journal ArticleDOI

Individual Differences in Cognitive Plasticity and Variability as Predictors of Cognitive Function in Older Adults

TL;DR: The ADNI-Mem was one of the measures best predicted by the CSF measures in MCI, and by Aß in AD as mentioned in this paper, and for MRI, ADNIMemwas competitivewith the ADAS-Cog.
