The role of motivations and involvement in wine tourists' intention to return: SEM and fsQCA findings
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used both symmetric and asymmetric methods to explore the role of motivation and involvement in tourists' intention to return to a wine region, using an online survey to obtain a convenience sample of 292 respondents from Rioja and Bordeaux.
Journal ArticleDOI
New findings of Neurospora in Europe and comparisons of diversity in temperate climates on continental scales.
David J. Jacobson,Jeremy R. Dettman,Rachel I. Adams,Cornelia Boesl,Shahana Sultana,Till Roenneberg,Martha Merrow,Margarida Duarte,Isabel Marques,Alexandra V. Ushakova,Patrícia Carneiro,Arnaldo Videira,Laura Navarro-Sampedro,María Teresa Camacho Olmedo,Luis M. Corrochano,John W. Taylor +15 more
TL;DR: The species distribution and spatial dynamics of Neurospora populations showed both similarities and differences when compared between temperate Europe and western North America, both regions of similar latitude, climate and vegetation.
Journal ArticleDOI
A real time Taqman RT-PCR for the detection of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus 2 (RHDV2).
Margarida Duarte,Carina L. Carvalho,Sílvia C. Barros,Ana Margarida Henriques,Fernanda F. Ramos,Teresa Fagulha,Tiago Luís,E.L. Duarte,Miguel Fevereiro +8 more
TL;DR: The assay was proven a valuable tool to diagnose most of RDVH2 circulating strains, and may be also useful to monitor viral loads, and consequently, disease progression and vaccination efficacy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Snapshot of viral infections in wild carnivores reveals ubiquity of parvovirus and susceptibility of Egyptian mongoose to feline panleukopenia virus.
Margarida Duarte,Ana Margarida Henriques,Sílvia C. Barros,Teresa Fagulha,Paula Mendonça,Paulo de Tarso Camillo de Carvalho,Madalena Monteiro,Miguel Fevereiro,Mafalda P. Basto,Luís Miguel Rosalino,Luís Miguel Rosalino,Tânia Barros,Victor Bandeira,Carlos Fonseca,Mónica V. Cunha +14 more
TL;DR: This study evidences that exposure of sympatric wild carnivores to parvovirus is common and geographically widespread, potentially carrying a risk to susceptible populations at the wildlife-domestic interface and to threatened species.
Journal ArticleDOI
A DIVA system based on the detection of antibodies to non-structural protein 3 (NS3) of bluetongue virus.
Sílvia C. Barros,Benedita Cruz,Tiago Luís,Fernanda F. Ramos,Teresa Fagulha,Margarida Duarte,Margarida Henriques,Miguel Fevereiro +7 more
TL;DR: Results confirm that NS3 antibodies were induced to the greatest levels in animals infected with BTV in comparison to the levels induced in animals immunized with inactivated BTV vaccines, implying that antibody response to NS3 allows the differentiation between infected and vaccinated animals.
