A Case of Tumid Lupus Erythematosus

TL;DR: A 51-year-old female patient, presented with a solitary walnut sized tender erythematous nodule on the left forehead, histopathologic findings showed dense perivascular and periadnexal lymphocytic infiltration, mucin deposition between the dermal collagen fibers like cutaneous lupus ery thematosus but there was no involvement of epidermis or dermoepidermal junction.

A Case of Merkel Cell Carcinoma Differentially Diagnosed by Thyroid Transcription Factor-1

TL;DR: Thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1) staining was very useful to differentiate Merkel cell carcinoma from metastatic small cell lung cancer in an 84-year old female with an asymptomatic 1×1.5 cm sized erythematous nodule that had rapidly enlarged over a one-month period.
