Principle component analysis (PCA) for investigation of relationship between population dynamics of microbial pathogenesis, chemical and sensory characteristics in beef slices containing Tarragon essential oil.

TLDR
The PCA showed that the properties of the uncoated meat samples on the 9th, 12th, 15th and 18th days of storage are continuously changing independent of the exerted treatments on the other samples.

Comparison of different analytical methods for assessing total antioxidant capacity of human serum

TL;DR: Three assays were compared for the determination of total antioxidant capacity in human serum: the oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC), the Randox Trolox-equivalent antioxidant capacity (Randox-TEAC) assay, and the ferric reducing ability (FRAP) assay.

Antibacterial activity of essential oils and their major constituents against respiratory tract pathogens by gaseous contact

TL;DR: The results indicate that the antibacterial action of essential oils was most effective when at high vapour concentration for a short time, and rapid evaporation was more effective than slow evporation of essential oil.
