Journal ArticleDOI
Glyphosate: a once-in-a-century herbicide.
TL;DR: The use of this virtually ideal herbicide is now being threatened by the evolution of glyphosate-resistant weeds, and adoption of resistance management practices will be required to maintain the benefits of glyphosate technologies for future generations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Natural products in crop protection.
TL;DR: The historical use of natural products in agricultural practices, the impact ofnatural products on the development of new pesticides, and the future prospects for natural products-based pest management are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: This article offers a set of recommendations that scientists believe can achieve greater conceptual harmony in dose-response terminology, as well as better understanding and communication across the broad spectrum of biological disciplines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ecophysiological aspects of allelopathy
Inderjit,Stephen O. Duke +1 more
TL;DR: Five aspects of allelochemicals are discussed from an ecophysiological perspective: biosynthesis, modes of release, mode of action, detoxification and prevention of autotoxicity, and joint action of alleLochemicals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Natural Products As Sources for New Pesticides
TL;DR: Despite the common perception that natural products may not be the best sources for NAI as pesticides, when both conventional and biopesticides are examined collectively, it can be argued that their combined impact with the EPA from 1997 to 2010 accounted for 69.3% of all NAI registrations.
