Analysis of glutathione in the presence of acetaminophen and tyrosine via an amplified electrode with MgO/SWCNTs as a sensor in the hemolyzed erythrocyte.

TLDR
The CPE/MgO/SWCNTs/2-CDHPMA showed a high quality of detection of glutathione in the hemolyzed erythrocyte sample and a linear dynamic range between 0.05 and 700.0μmolL-1 for the analysis of glutATHione by the square-wave voltammetric method.

Simultaneous determination of cholesterol, ascorbic acid and uric acid as three essential biological compounds at a carbon paste electrode modified with copper oxide decorated reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite and ionic liquid

TL;DR: The electrode, CuO-rGR/1M3OIDTFB/CPE showed remarkable sensitivities towards the determination of the analytes, and well defined and clearly separated oxidation peaks were obtained during their simultaneous analysis in a buffer solution at pH 7.4.

Tissue sulfhydryl groups

TL;DR: A water-soluble (at pH 8) aromatic disulfide [5,5′-dithiobis(2-nitrobenzoic acid] has been synthesized and shown to be useful for determination of sulfhydryl groups.
Journal ArticleDOI

A fluorometric method for determination of oxidized and reduced glutathione in tissues.

TL;DR: Results for GSH levels agreed well with earlier reports but levels of GSSG estimated here were higher than earlier reported values, and the reasons for the apparently higher levels ofGSSG are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assay for quantitative determination of glutathione and glutathione disulfide levels using enzymatic recycling method.

TL;DR: The spectrophotometric/microplate reader assay method for glutathione (GSH) can assay GSH in whole blood, plasma, serum, lung lavage fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, tissues and cell extracts and can be extended for drug discovery/pharmacology and toxicology protocols to study the effects of drugs and toxic compounds on glutATHione metabolism.
