Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical studies of anthocyanins: A review

TL;DR: In this article, the most recent advances in the chemical investigation of the anthocyanins are summarised, emphasising the effects of pH, co-pigmentation, metal ion complexation and antioxidant activity on their stability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical sensors, biosensors and thick-film technology

TL;DR: The use of planar technologies to produce sensors based on thick films can be very convenient since it calls for an inexpensive infrastructure, and is feasible for small to medium production runs as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mercury ions removal from aqueous solution using an activated composite membrane.

TL;DR: Additional experiments were carried out with the free-DTPA composite membranes to make up a set of control reference points to verify that removal of the investigated heavy metal was a consequence of the presence of the organic ligand; otherwise there was no Hg(II) concentration variation at all.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic solid phase extraction applied to food analysis.

TL;DR: The main procedures used for synthesis, characterization, and application of this pretreatment technique which were applied in food analysis are described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous determination of tetracyclines in poultry muscle by capillary zone electrophoresis

TL;DR: A capillary zone electrophoresis method with UV detection was developed for the simultaneous detection and quantification of three tetracyclines in chicken meat samples and would be useful for the routine monitoring of TCs residues in poultry muscle.
