Enhanced crop productivity and compatibility through intercropping of sesame and sunflower varieties
V.I.O. Olowe,A.Y. Adeyemo +1 more
TL;DR: It was concluded that growers can successfully cultivate sesame (530-6-1 and PBTil) under intercropping with sunflower in the humid forest-savanna transition zone.

Evaluation of early and medium duration cowpea ( Vigna unguiculata (L) Walp) cultivars for agronomic traits and grain yield
Journal ArticleDOI
Seed Yield and Quality of Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) as Influenced by Staggered Sowing and Organic Fertilizer Application in the Humid Tropics
TL;DR: Based on the comparatively high seed yield recorded in this study, it is recommended that sunflower be sown in the forest–savanna transition zone in early July or second to third week in August.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intercropping Sunflower with Soyabeans Enhances Total Crop Productivity
V.I.O. Olowe,O. A. Adebimpe +1 more
TL;DR: It is recommended that intercropped combination of TGx 1448–2E/Isaanka and TGx 1440-IE/Record be used to improve yields of vegetable oilseeds.
