Journal ArticleDOI

A novel method of endoscopic mucosal resection using sodium hyaluronate.

TL;DR: Use of sodium hyaluronate instead of saline for endoscopic mucosal resection could make the procedure easier and more reliable.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of biliary strictures using intraductal ultrasonography: comparison with percutaneous cholangioscopic biopsy

TL;DR: The accuracy of intraductal ultrasonography (IDUS) for diagnosing bile duct cancer was less than that of PTCS, however, the sensitivity for bile cytology, or biles duct biopsy improved when performed in combination with IDUS.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Multicenter, Double‐Blind Study on Triple Therapy with Lansoprazole, Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin for Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in Japanese Peptic Ulcer Patients

TL;DR: Two triple therapies with lansoprazole (LPZ)/amoxicillin (AMPC)/clarithromycin (CAM) for eradication of Helicobacter pylori were studied in multicenter, double‐blind fashion to evaluate the eradication rate of H. Pylori and safety of eradiation treatment in Japanese patients with H.pylori‐positive active gastric ulcers or duodenal ulcers.
Journal Article

Preoperative staging of extrahepatic bile duct cancer with intraductal ultrasonography

TL;DR: IDUS, with a high-frequency probe, was very useful for assessing tumor infiltration in the hepatoduodenal ligament, but conventional ultrasonography and angiography could compensate for it.
