TL;DR: If an endoscopically removed tumour satisfies the above criteria, further surgical intervention may be optional as the outcome of endoscopic resection is comparable to that of radical surgery in the absence of node involvement.

TL;DR: Based on the results, it is believed that in patients with active severe UC, patients who are refractory to conventional drugs, granulocyte and monocyte adsorption apheresis is a useful adjunct to conventional therapy.
