TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the use of remotely sensed data, coupled with numerical simulation for marine currents, to provide assessment of shoreline morphodynamics, and presented their findings about sediment transport dynamics and, in particular, on local divergence of sediment flux, and its relation to coastal erosion in the Adriatic sea.
