Crossover of the three-dimensional topological insulator Bi 2 Se 3 to the two-dimensional limit
Yi Zhang,Ke He,Cui-Zu Chang,Cui-Zu Chang,Can-Li Song,Lili Wang,Xi Chen,Jin-Feng Jia,Zhong Fang,Xi Dai,Wen-Yu Shan,Shun-Qing Shen,Qian Niu,Xiao-Liang Qi,Shou-Cheng Zhang,Xucun Ma,Qi-Kun Xue +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, a study of the topological insulating Bi2Se3 thin films finds that a gap in these gapless surface states opens up in films below a certain thickness, which suggests that in thicker films, gapless states exist on both upper and lower surfaces.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interface-Induced High-Temperature Superconductivity in Single Unit-Cell FeSe Films on SrTiO3
Qingyan Wang,Qingyan Wang,Zhi Li,Wenhao Zhang,Zuocheng Zhang,Jinsong Zhang,Wei Li,Hao Ding,Yunbo Ou,Peng Deng,Kai Chang,Jing Wen,Can-Li Song,Ke He,Jin-Feng Jia,Shuai-Hua Ji,Yayu Wang,Lili Wang,Xi Chen,Xucun Ma,Qi-Kun Xue +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported high transition temperature superconductivity in one unitcell (UC) thick FeSe films grown on a Se-etched SrTiO3 (001) substrate by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE).
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental Realization of an Intrinsic Magnetic Topological Insulator
Yan Gong,Jingwen Guo,Jiaheng Li,Kejing Zhu,Menghan Liao,Xiaozhi Liu,Qinghua Zhang,Lin Gu,Lin Tang,Xiao Feng,Ding Zhang,Wei Li,Can-Li Song,Lili Wang,Pu Yu,Xi Chen,Yayu Wang,Hong Yao,Wenhui Duan,Yong Xu,Yong Xu,Shou-Cheng Zhang,Xucun Ma,Qi-Kun Xue,Ke He +24 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the experimental realization of thin films of an intrinsic magnetic topological insulator, MnBi 2 Te 4, by alternate growth of a Bi 2 Te 3 quintuple layer and a MnTe bilayer with molecular beam epitaxy was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Landau Quantization of Topological Surface States in Bi2Se3
Peng Cheng,Can-Li Song,Tong Zhang,Tong Zhang,Yanyi Zhang,Yilin Wang,Jin-Feng Jia,Jing Wang,Yayu Wang,Bang-Fen Zhu,Xi Chen,Xucun Ma,Ke He,Lili Wang,Xi Dai,Zhong Fang,Xincheng Xie,Xiao-Liang Qi,Xiao-Liang Qi,Chao-Xing Liu,Chao-Xing Liu,Shou-Cheng Zhang,Qi-Kun Xue,Qi-Kun Xue +23 more
TL;DR: The zeroth Landau level is discovered, predicted to give rise to the half-quantized Hall effect for the topological surface states, which may eventually lead to the realization of quantum Hall effect in topological insulators.
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct Observation of Nodes and Twofold Symmetry in FeSe Superconductor
Can-Li Song,Can-Li Song,Yilin Wang,Peng Cheng,Yeping Jiang,Yeping Jiang,Wei Li,Tong Zhang,Tong Zhang,Zhi Li,Ke He,Lili Wang,Jin-Feng Jia,Hsiang-Hsuan Hung,Congjun Wu,Xucun Ma,Xi Chen,Qi-Kun Xue,Qi-Kun Xue +18 more
TL;DR: The electron-pairing mechanism in an iron-based superconductor, iron selenide (FeSe), is investigated using scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy and the anisotropy can be explained in terms of the orbital-dependent reconstruction of electronic structure in FeSe.
