Journal ArticleDOI

The CMS experiment at the CERN LHC

S. Chatrchyan, +3175 more
TL;DR: The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN as mentioned in this paper was designed to study proton-proton (and lead-lead) collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 14 TeV (5.5 TeV nucleon-nucleon) and at luminosities up to 10(34)cm(-2)s(-1)
Journal ArticleDOI

A Study of coherence of soft gluons in hadron jets

M. Z. Akrawy, +518 more
- 20 Sep 1990 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the energy dependence of the inclusive momentum distribution of charged particles in multihadronic events produced in e + e − annihilations at E CM ∼ M (Z 0 ).
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for neutral minimal supersymmetric standard model Higgs bosons decaying to tau pairs in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV.

S. Chatrchyan, +2233 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for neutral MSSM Higgs bosons in pp collisions at the LHC at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV is presented based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36 inverse picobarns recorded by the CMS experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for the neutral higgs boson from z0 decay

Bernardo Adeva, +483 more
- 15 Feb 1990 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the neutral Higgs boson using the processes Z 0 → H 0 e + e −, Z0 → H ε + ε, Z ε → H τ + τ −, Zε → ε v v, and Z 0→ H 0 q q q, is performed on data collected by the ALEPH detector corresponding to about 11 550 events of Z0→ hadrons.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurements of Z0 --> bb decays and the semileptonic branching ratio BR (b --> l + X)

Bernardo Adeva, +499 more
- 23 May 1991 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the decay properties of Z 0 → b b from a study of inclusive muon and electron events were measured, assuming the standard model prediction of Γ bb = 378 ± 3 MeV with an additional 19 MeV error from the uncertainty in BR (b → l + X).
