TL;DR: In complementation assays using mouse marrow progenitor cells, the ability of transformation‐defective SH2 domain BCR/ABL mutants to induce growth factor‐independent colony formation and leukemia in SCID mice was markedly enhanced by expression of constitutively active Akt.
