Guidelines for the use and interpretation of assays for monitoring autophagy (3rd edition)

Daniel J. Klionsky, +2522 more
- 21 Jan 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a set of guidelines for the selection and interpretation of methods for use by investigators who aim to examine macro-autophagy and related processes, as well as for reviewers who need to provide realistic and reasonable critiques of papers that are focused on these processes.

Journal Article

Familial occurrence of typical and severe lethal congenital contractural arachnodactyly caused by missplicing of exon 34 of fibrillin-2.

TL;DR: An A-->T transversion at the -2 position of the consensus acceptor splice site is reported, resulting in the missplicing of exon 34, a calcium-binding epidermal growth factor-like repeat in fibrillin-2 in a mother and daughter with CCA.
Journal Article

Prenatal diagnosis and a donor splice site mutation in fibrillin in a family with Marfan syndrome

TL;DR: Genetic linkage analysis with fibrillin specific markers was used to establish the prenatal diagnosis in an 11-wk-gestation fetus in a four-generation Marfan kindred and detected a deletion of 123 bp in one allele in affected relatives.
